THE OLYMPIC GOLF COURSE

The 18-hole Olympic course gives off a links-like feel, comparable to the Australian sand-belt course, and blends naturally with the native vegetation. There is plenty of wildlife present on the course, including capybaras (large rodents), caimans (small crocodiles) and corujas (burrowing owls). TERRAVISTA GOLF COURSE

The front nine holes are routed through an Atlantic rainforest environment while the back nine holes are played closer to the coast, with four holes laid out along the edge of the cliffs. The signature hole is found here at hole 14, a much-photographed par three where the green is perched 150 feet above the water’s level. From the tee box, giant sea turtles can be observed swimming in the ocean.

Itanhangá Golf Club is founded in the 30's and is the only club with 27 holes in Rio de Janeiro State. The club always played an important role for golf in Brazil, as it hosted some of the major golf competitions, including the Brazil Open and the LPGA Tour. Itanhangá is also famous for its Golf school, which is active in promoting junior golf.

Established in 1931, Olivos Golf Club is one of the best courses in the country and the region. Nestled in the foothills of the Andes in Santiago, the Club de Golf La Dehesa offers outstanding mountain views. This golf club Began in the late 60s. The course offers the longest par 5 courses in South America, located on the 18th hole (660 yards). Club de Golf La Dehesa was Chosen for the world amateur championship in 1998, and it was the last That Sergio Garcia played the course before becoming a pro.

BUENOS AIRES GOLF CLUB

The Buenos Aires Golf Club opened in 1994. Just one year later, in 1995, the club hosted the Argentine Open and the South American Amateur Championship. In 2000 this course also hosted the EMC Golf World Cup, when the Americans Tiger Woods and David Duval defeated in the last round the Argentine team (Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera). The Buenos Aires Golf Club was designed by Robert Von Hagge and is said to be the best course in the country. This 7000 yards, par 72 course is full of water and bunkers with excellent greens and marvelous maintenance. The club has three different 9 holes courses: Green, Blue, and Yellow. All of them are interesting and challenging designs. In 2005 Golf Digest Magazine ranked Buenos Aires Golf Club among the top 100 courses around the world.

The golf course with 18 holes has been redesigned to become a reference in Latin America and was renamed to Iguassu Falls Golf Club, in honor of the Iguaçu Falls. Today it has already established itself as one of the best golf courses of Parana.
