SUNNINGDALE GOLF COURSE (NEW)
Sunningdale's New Course was commissioned following the end of the First World War in 1923 to facilitate the ever-increasing demands of golf memberships at the old course.
The New Course is considered to be the more rugged, with less bunkering and tree lining that its older sibling. Narrow winding fairways bordered by penal heather, act as corridors to the small and often raised greens.
There are many memorable holes on the new course especially the par-three at 5th. The views across treetops to the common beyond are really good.
