ROYAL ST. GEORGE'S GOLF CLUB
Royal St. George's Golf Course has been the number one golf course in England for a number of years now, and it is not difficult to see why. Many Golfers have described it as a 'masterpiece' that flows seamlessly through the imposing dunes of Sandwich Bay overlooking St. Clement's church. King Edward VII granted St. George's its prestigious 'royal' recognition in 1902, making it the first 'Royal Course' of the twentieth century. It has had the honor of hosting the Open Championships 14 times.
